New publication by the Wachten and Schmidt labs

We are so happy to see our story about "Nanobody-directed targeting of optogenetic tools to study signaling in the primary cilium" published in eLife. Great team effort by the Wachten, Schmidt, Möglich, Mick, and Jurisch-Yaksi lab!

We established a nanobody-based toolkit that allows to target optogenetic tools to primary cilia.

Using this approach, we investigate how cAMP signaling in the cilium vs. cell body controls ciliary length, an important determinant of cell function and tissue homeostasis.
