Zoe Meerholz completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University Bonn and advanced her knowledge in Molecular Cell Biology during her master studies at the University Bonn. During her studies, Zoe worked as an assistant in the aerospace biology group at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) where she was part of the Mapheus-13 rocket campaign at the ESA ESRANGE facility in Kiruna, Sweden.
In 2024 she joined the McManus Lab as a PhD student, with the aim to investigate the relationship between neuroinflammation and metabolism.
