Zacharias did an apprenticeship as laboratory technician and worked at the Leibniz-Institute of Virology in Hamburg for two years. Zacharias then began studying Molecular Biomedicine at the University of Bonn and is currently working on his bachelor’s thesis in the Meissner group. His project is about reactive cysteine profiling in immune cells using mass spectrometry based proteomics.
