Ilayda has completed her Bachelor’s education in Bilkent University, Turkey on the topic of Molecular Biology and Genetics. During her education she also worked infield of Synthetic Biology by joining the iGEM team. In 2019, she first came to Germany for an internship at LMU Munich on topic of infection biology andgenetics; and then in 2021 she moved to Germany for her Master’s education in “Immunobiology:from molecules to integrative systems" program at LIMES/RheinischeFriedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. She is currently writing her Master’sthesis with the Meissner group.
