Dennis de Graaf studied Biomedical Sciences (2012-2017) with a major in human pathobiology at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
He continued with his PhD studies (2017-2022) under the joint supervision of Prof. Dr. Charles Dinarello, Prof. Leo Joosten, and Prof. Dr. Frank van de Veerdonk at the Radboud University Medical Center. Dennis worked in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Dinarello in Denver, Colorado, USA from 2018-2020, and these studies resulted in a thesis entitled “The Biology of Interleukin-38 in Health and Disease’.
In 2022 Dennis joined Prof. Eicke Latz’s group at the III as a postdoc, where he investigates the crosstalk between inflammasomes and cytokines in the context of inflammatory (skin) diseases.
